The SWAT Team (Spoofhounds Working As a Team) has been designed to cultivate leadership potential in students who strive to lead others.  This team consists of a male and female student from each 1st-4th grade classroom per semester. Students interested in serving on the SWAT Team complete an application in class and are selected through collaboration with the classroom, grade level, and exploratory teachers.  
Being a student leader is a big responsibility that entails a positive attitude for learning and initiative to serve.  SWAT Team members will assist EFES by supporting students new to EFES, assist with monthly assemblies and other celebrations, and serve on the Principal Advisory Team.  SWAT Team members will also be given an opportunity to assist with a service project within the community.
